A new cruise ship destination, Global Destinations was retained by Carnival Corporation to lead conceptual planning and visioning. We themed, branded and named “Mahogany Bay”, which opened in late 2009.

The project, capitalized at US $62 million, represents Carnival Corporation’s largest port investment in the world. It is home to two post-Panamax cruise ship docks, a themed retail shopping center, and a variety of activities.

Mahogany Bay has already become one of the world’s premier new cruise ship destinations. In 2010 the new port hosted over one-half a million cruise visitors (560,000).
